A little bit about me...

Hello, I'm Heidi. I live in the great state of Colorado, but originally I am from west Michigan. (You will notice I have not lost my Midwest accent!) I have always loved taking pictures. I started with landscape photography, then after I got married and was blessed with children I thought it would be more efficient to take my own pictures of them. Eventually I fell in love with photography. As a photographer I have opened up a creative side in myself that I enjoy exploring. I find so much joy in using that creativity through taking pictures of life in whatever stage that may be. I am a conservative Christian and find my hope and faith in Christ and Him alone. I believe in God's inspired Word revealed in the Holy Bible and the ten commandments. When I look at the pictures that I have taken I want them to reflect the beauty of God's creation, His work and faith He has given me. This is why I choose to be closed on Sunday and why I may choose to tell you when a photography session might make me uncomfortable. Please respect my wishes.
